Today, May 10, 2024, Guimaras State University organized a simultaneous launch for the “๐ฆ๐ฎ๐๐ฒ ๐ ๐ฒ” project across three campuses โ Salvador, Mosqueda, and Baterna.
At GSU Mosqueda Campus, the event unfolded with a short program, starting with an opening prayer, the national anthem, and the GSU hymn, followed by opening remarks delivered by Instructor John Alfred G. Borreros and a brief overview of the ‘๐ฆ๐ฎ๐๐ฒ ๐ ๐ฒ’ project by Mark Jesriel Galusong, GSUSR Congressman of Mosqueda Campus.
Distinguished guests, including Mr. Jan Felix Balquin, Sir Allen G. Van Molen, and Ms. Jianne Jashley Galusong, graced the program with inspiring messages, emphasizing the importance of initiatives like ‘๐ฆ๐ฎ๐๐ฒ ๐ ๐ฒ’ in addressing environmental concerns. The program ended with closing remarks by Instructor Loveson Gallos, emphasizing the significance of collective action in environmental preservation.
After which, Mosquedians engaged in a “๐ช๐ฎ๐น๐ธ ๐ณ๐ผ๐ฟ ๐ฎ ๐๐ฎ๐๐๐ฒ” actively collecting garbages around the campus to contribute to the cleanliness, health, and safety of our environment.
This initiative aims to mitigate environmental damage and foster students’ commitment to environmental cleanliness through proper waste management. The event commenced at 9:00 in the morning and concluded at 11:00 am.
Together, let’s transform Guimaras State University into a ๐ฝ๐น๐ฎ๐๐๐ถ๐ฐ-๐ณ๐ฟ๐ฒ๐ฒ ๐ถ๐ป๐๐๐ถ๐๐๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป!
