CST Celebrated the World Teachers’ Day 2024: Highlighted the Importance of Socialization and Interaction

October 4, 2024 | Mosqueda Campus

The college dean of the College of Science and Technology (CST) secretly organized the World Teachers’ Day 2024 celebration in collaboration with the student council and student republic officers.

To achieve this, the organizing team avoided physical meetings and instead used group chat to exchange ideas with the classroom mayors. These class mayors then lay down the secretly planned activity.

On October 4, 2024, the college dean called a meeting of all faculty members to cover up the fact that students were secretly planning an activity. The meeting’s agenda included plans for the World Teachers’ Day event. To the faculty’s surprise, the Student Council and SR Officers unexpectedly entered the conference room, carrying cupcakes with the “Happy Teachers Day” topper. The cupcakes caught the faculty off guard.

Following this, faculty members engaged in a full-pack activity, akin to games, while students enthusiastically cheered for their teachers. Subsequently, the students showcase their gifts.

Indeed, the faculty was surprised, and CST made the celebration of this amazing, significant activity worthwhile and truly meaningful, as students greatly appreciated their respective instructors and professors.
