The Campus Ministry arranged another Teacher’s Day celebration, which included a symposium aimed at enhancing the motivation and spiritual aspects of teachers. Invited resource persons Prof. Lenlen D. Sacapeño and Ms. Jogie Marie C. Lenaugo of West Visayas State University shared their teaching experiences and cited their lessons reflecting passion and commitment as educators, finding their purpose in nurturing young minds.
Mrs. Analie D. Ong emphasized the spiritual aspect by quoting Jeremiah 1:5, which states, “Before I formed you in the womb, I knew you; before you were born, I sanctified you; and O ordained you a prophet to the nations.” She connected this biblical passage to the previous two speakers, emphasizing that all teachers were born to be teachers, and they play a crucial role in shaping the future of the country, leaving a lasting impression of gratitude and motivation.
Mrs. Ong led a prayer for the teachers and gave them the chance to reflect on and appreciate the people they are most thankful for by allowing everyone to express their gratitude and their love through warm hugs and shake hands.
Indeed, this activity set a different tone and importance for the teachers.
Moreover, Mrs. Ong presented a small gift to all faculty and staff of Mosqueda Campus as a token of appreciation for their sacrifices and efforts in molding and nurturing students to become competitive and good citizens of the country.
