Dr. Enriqueta Siva, GAD Director, graced the event, emphasizing the vital role of women in organizations. She inspired participants by addressing the persistent stereotypes in the cybersecurity industry and underscoring the significance of the activity in light of recent cyber incidents.

Instructor Loveson C. Gallos further explained the purpose of the event, aligning it with Dr. Siva’s message. The activity was attended by 75 faculty, staff, and selected students, comprising 41 women (55%) and 34 men (45%).
