To officially welcome new college students for Academic Year 2024-2025, Guimaras State University organized an orientation program on February 7, 2025, at the Audio-Visual Room, Salvador Campus.
Sixteen incoming students from the College of Science and Technology actively participated in the event, gaining valuable insights into the university’s resources, services, and policies to support their academic journey.
The orientation aimed to familiarize students with university policies, academic guidelines, and available services, ensuring a smooth transition into campus life. Various heads led detailed discussions, providing essential information on key topics, including the Universal Access to Quality Tertiary Education Act, Mutual Benefit Fund, Medical and Dental Services, Library Services, ICT Services, Gender and Development, and Guidance Services.
By offering a comprehensive overview of these resources, GSU warmly welcomed its new students, setting a positive tone for their academic journey.
