The College of Science and Technology (CST) conducted a Community Extension Service Program – Canva Workshop at Jordan Central School on March 14. The workshop aimed to equip elementary school teachers with essential skills in using Canva, a valuable tool for creating engaging teaching materials.

James Ryan B. Ga served as the resource speaker, alongside College Dean Adrian J. Forca. They were supported by five faculty and staff members—Rachel Gallego, Jan Vincent Bolong, Ma. Ferrine Esmao, Marnie Lester Jornadal, and Dan Christian Gellada—who assisted participants throughout the hands-on training.

The session featured a step-by-step demonstration on designing tarpaulins, covering layout techniques, font selection, color schemes, and proper image placement to enhance readability and visual appeal. Teachers actively participated by creating their own tarpaulin designs for upcoming school events.
This initiative highlights CST’s commitment to empowering educators with digital tools, enabling them to enhance their school’s visual presentations and communication materials effectively.
