Empowering educators with essential digital skills, the College of Science and Technology (CST) of Guimaras State University (GSU) conducted a Community Extension activity focused on Google Workspace Training for teachers of Dagsaan Elementary School and Mabini Primary School on June 27, 2025.

The training was led by James Ryan B. Ga, Program Head of the Bachelor of Science in Entertainment and Multimedia Computing (BSEMC), who served as the resource speaker. He introduced the participating teachers to various Google Workspace tools such as Google Docs, Sheets, Slides, Forms, and Drive—providing hands-on demonstrations to ensure practical understanding and classroom application.

Supporting the activity were Dr. Reiner Jun G. Alminaza, Community Extension Services Coordinator, and Mismo Querobin, CST Instructor. Their collaborative efforts contributed to a smooth and productive learning session, with emphasis on integrating Google Workspace tools into basic education teaching strategies.

This initiative aims to hone and equip local educators with digital competencies that enhance instructional delivery, promote efficiency, and support the Department of Education’s call for digital transformation in basic education.
