As part of its commitment to community engagement and digital empowerment, the College of Science and Technology (CST) conducted a Community Extension Service Program focused on Canva training for the faculty of Good Shepherd’s Fold Inc. (GSFI), Buenavista, Guimaras.

The activity was spearheaded by Prof. Reiner Jun C. Alminaza, CST Extension Coordinator, and Instructor Mismo Querobin as the resource speaker. With a hands-on approach, the training aimed to equip GSFI educators with practical skills in using a versatile graphic design software like Canva that is widely used for educational materials and presentations.

The initiative was designed to help participants become well-equipped and knowledgeable in digital design, enabling them to create visually engaging learning materials and resources by mastering Canva’s tools and templates.

Participants engaged in guided exercises, explored design principles, and learned how to customize layouts for various educational purposes. The training emphasized creativity, accessibility, and relevance to the needs of the GSFI community.

This activity reflects CST’s ongoing mission to extend its expertise beyond campus walls, promoting sustainable collaboration between CST and the community.
