CST Ensures Learning Continuity Through Online Classes Amid Typhoon Opong

September 25 and 27, 2025 | GSU Mosqueda Campus

The College of Science and Technology (CST) conducted its classes through virtual platforms on September 25 and 27, 2025, as part of its adaptive response to the challenges posed by Typhoon Opong.

On September 25, as directed by the University President, all classes were shifted to online/virtual modality due to the anticipated strong winds and heavy rains brought about by the typhoon. By September 27, classes continued online in light of the unfavorable weather conditions and the aftermath of Typhoon Opong.

CST instructors utilized various digital platforms to ensure the continuity of teaching and learning despite the disruptions. This highlighted not only the institution’s flexibility but also its dedication to safeguarding the welfare of students and faculty while maintaining the delivery of quality education.

This initiative underscored the resiliency and commitment of CST to provide uninterrupted learning experiences even in times of natural calamities, prioritizing both safety and academic excellence.
