October 1, 2025 | CST Building, GSU Mosqueda Campus

In response to the recent earthquake that struck Panay and Guimaras, the Guimaras State University (GSU) Planning Office carried out a thorough inspection of the College of Science and Technology (CST) infrastructures and buildings at the Mosqueda Campus to ensure the safety of students, faculty, and staff.

The activity, conducted on October 1, 2025, aimed to assess the structural integrity of classrooms, offices, and other facilities that may have been affected by the tremor. The Planning Office personnel checked and inspected every room, building, and facility within the building to guarantee that no hidden damage or hazards were overlooked.
This inspection serves as part of the university’s safety protocol to uphold a secure learning environment for its community. Any findings that may require immediate attention are recorded and will be addressed to prevent future risks and to maintain the institution’s readiness.
This underscores its commitment to ensuring that the welfare of its constituents remains the top priority, especially in the aftermath of natural disasters.
