The College of Science and Technology (CST) of Guimaras State University (GSU) conducted a WordPress Blog Tutorial Session for the College of Tourism and Hospitality Management (CTHM) student exchange participants who are set to depart for ITB STIKOM Bali, Indonesia, from October 17 to November 13, 2025. The session was held via Google Meet on October 10, 2025.
The tutorial was attended by the CTHM student exchange participants Janos Gabales, KC Faith Gadnao, Leicah Talabero, and Razel Keith Robles, along with Prof. Adrian J. Forca, Dean of CST, and Maria Lea Gatungay, CST staff.
The session aimed to equip the participants with the necessary skills in creating and managing their own WordPress blogs, which they will use throughout their international exchange journey. During their stay at ITB STIKOM Bali, the students are required to document their daily experiences, learnings, and reflections through a blog that will serve as their online journal.
Prof. Forca emphasized the importance of using digital tools like WordPress in promoting international collaboration and reflective learning. The tutorial covered the creation of their own word press accounts, basics of setting up a blog, customizing layouts, and publishing content effectively.
Through this initiative, CST ensures that the participants are well-prepared to share their academic and cultural experiences abroad while enhancing their digital literacy and communication skills. The blogging activity will also serve as a platform to showcase GSU’s commitment to internationalization and student engagement through global academic exposure.
