Exchange Students Pay Courtesy Call to GSU President

Exchange students paid a courtesy call to the University President of Guimaras State University on January 5, 2026, at the GSU Salvador Campus. The activity served as a formal culmination of their international student exchange experience and an opportunity for the university administration to personally acknowledge their participation.

As part of the program, the giving of cheques to the exchange students was conducted in recognition of their active involvement and successful completion of the exchange program.

During the courtesy call, the students shared their experiences from their student exchange journey, recounting the academic learnings, cultural exposure, and personal growth they gained while representing GSU abroad. They discussed the classes they attended, interactions with international students and faculty, and the challenges and achievements they encountered throughout the program. The exchange of insights highlighted the positive impact of international mobility on students’ perspectives and competencies. The activity reaffirmed Guimaras State University’s commitment to strengthening global partnerships and supporting meaningful international opportunities for its students.
