The College of Science and Technology actively participated in the International Conference on ICT Integration in Technical Education, an international research conference where the CST Dean and program heads presented their scholarly works alongside global researchers and academics on January 20-23, 2025.





Representing CST were Prof. Adrian J. Forca, CST Dean; Instr. James Ryan B. Ga, BSEMC Program Head and Research Coordinator; and Instr. Loveson C. Gallos, BSIS Program Head. Their participation highlighted the college’s commitment to advancing research and strengthening international academic collaboration.
During the conference, the CST representatives presented research studies addressing innovation, technology, and institutional development. Prof. Adrian J. Forca presented the study “Document Route Recording System: Tool for Tracking Documents in the Case of Philippine Universities.” These studies explored the use of digital systems in improving institutional processes.
Instr. James Ryan B. Ga presented the research titled “Development of Alumni Information Management System in a State University,” which focused on designing an information system to enhance alumni data management and institutional connectivity.
Meanwhile, Instr. Loveson C. Gallos presented “Development of PetVax: A Mobile Application for Addressing Rabies Cases,” a study that proposed a mobile-based solution for monitoring rabies-related concerns.
The conference gathered international researchers from various universities and institutions, providing a platform for the exchange of ideas, research findings, and best practices in education, technology, and innovation. The participation of CST faculty members in this global academic forum showed the college’s dedication to research excellence and knowledge sharing.
Through their presentations, the CST representatives contributed to meaningful discussions on emerging technologies and institutional development, further strengthening GSU’s presence in the international research community. Their participation also served as an inspiration to students and faculty, reinforcing the importance of research in advancing academic and societal progress.
