The College of Science and Technology (CST) of Guimaras State University (GSU) successfully conducted its 4th Collaborative Online International Learning (COIL) class in partnership with Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember on March 17, 2026, held virtually via Google Meet.
The session focused on the topic Cartesian Product, a fundamental concept in Discrete Mathematics. The discussion was led by Dr. Reiner Jun C. Alminaza, who guided students through the concepts, applications, and problem-solving approaches related to the topic.
Students from both CST and ITS actively participated in the class, engaging in discussions and collaborative learning activities. The virtual setup allowed learners from the GSU, Philippines and ITS, Indonesia to interact in real time, fostering both academic exchange and cultural connection.
The successful conduct of the 4th COIL class highlights CST’s continued commitment to innovative instruction, internationalization, and the integration of global learning opportunities for its students.
