CST Dean Co-Authors International Research Publication in Scopus-Indexed Journal

The College of Science and Technology (CST) continues to make strides in international research as Prof. Adrian J. Forca, CST Dean, co-authored a study published on March 4, 2026 in the Journal of Information Systems Engineering and Business Intelligence, a Scopus-indexed international journal.

The research was conducted in collaboration with faculty members from Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember and Widya Dharma Pontianak University, highlighting a strong international academic partnership.

Titled “Repolink: A Repository-Driven Technique for Reconstructing Missing Links in Business Process Model,” the study proposes an innovative approach to detect and reconstruct missing control-flow links in Business Process Model and Notation (BPMN) models. The research emphasizes maintaining computational efficiency and explainability, addressing key challenges in business process modeling.

The study underscores the importance of accurate and comprehensive business process models (BPMs) in modern organizations, as these serve as essential tools for defining clear workflows and operational standards for business actors. By introducing a repository-driven method, the research contributes to improving the reliability and effectiveness of BPMs used in various industries.
