The College of Science and Technology (CST) of Guimaras State University (GSU) conducted academic discussions with the Graduate Education and Professional Studies (GEPS) in April 2025, to explore potential faculty development pathways through advanced degree programs.
The meeting, held at Romblon State University, focused on exploring enrollment opportunities for CST faculty in Doctor in Information Technology (DIT) and Master in Information Technology (MIT) programs. The discussions aimed to establish institutional linkages, academic partnerships, and support mechanisms that would facilitate graduate education and long-term faculty development.
This initiative aligns with CST’s strategic objective of strengthening academic credentials among its teaching personnel. By promoting postgraduate education, the college aims to enhance instructional quality and research output to meet the increasing academic and technological demands of higher education institutions.
