The College of Science and Technology (CST) of Guimaras State University (GSU) facilitated a training workshop on April 10, 2025, at the Baterna Campus, aimed at enhancing data management and visualization capabilities of the College of Agriculture Sciences (CAGS).
The session was led by Assoc. Prof. Adrian J. Forca, Dean of CST, who served as a resource speaker. The training focused on the application of Google Sheets and Looker Studio in transforming administrative and academic data into interactive dashboards and reports. The workshop was attended by CAGS faculty and staff engaged in college-level data reporting, planning, and evaluation.
The program provided hands-on guidance in organizing datasets and generating visual outputs to support departmental monitoring, policy formulation, and performance tracking. Dean Forca emphasized the role of accessible data tools in enabling academic units to respond to operational challenges and align initiatives with institutional targets.
