The College of Science and Technology (CST) conducted an On-the-Job Training (OJT) Orientation Seminar for BSIT and BSIS fourth-year students on January 16, 2015, at the GSU Mosqueda Campus Conference Hall.

The orientation was attended by BSIT and BSIS graduating students, together with their respective program heads and the CST Dean, Prof. Adrian J. Forca who personally led the discussions. The seminar aimed to prepare and guide the students as they embark on another important phase of their academic journey as on-the-job trainees.

During the orientation, students were briefed on OJT guidelines, expectations, responsibilities, and proper workplace conduct. Prof. Forca emphasized the importance of professionalism, discipline, and adaptability as the students transition from classroom learning to real-world work environments. The session also served as a venue for students to clarify concerns and better understand the requirements and standards they are expected to meet throughout their training period.

The OJT Orientation Seminar provided the students with valuable insights and practical reminders, ensuring that they are well-equipped and confident as they take on their internship. It also reinforced CST’s commitment to producing competent, responsible, and industry-ready graduates.
