The College of Science and Technology organized a virtual meeting together
with the partner university-Universitas Pakuan, Indonesia to discuss the
Internationalization of the Community Extension Services. As a
backgrounder, both universities are mandated to conduct the above-mentioned services benefiting the community and one of the identified beneficiaries is the Department of Education Guimaras.
The discussion explored the Training Needs as Assessment but the Training
will gear towards capacitating the IT Personnel of DepEd Guimaras to
experience the IT Profession by undergoing IT Related training such as
Computer Programming, Web Development, Database Management, Networking and Data Science.
Both Universities and Identified Beneficiaries are hopeful for the plan
activity as this is seen to be of great help for the community by
capacitating them and leading towards digital transformation.
