CST Welcomes 705 Students for the First Semester, AY 2024-2025, Celebrates ASEAN Month, and Orients and Distributes Teaching Kits to CST Faculty

The College of Science and Technology Faculty and Staff warmly welcomed the 705 students, composed of 404 BS Information Technology students, 167 BS Computer Science students, and 134 BS Information Systems students. There were 229 new students looking to learn more about the university’s IT education offerings.



The college also participated in the ASEAN month celebration, where students held the flags of ASEAN countries such as Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam. Moreover, the faculty and staff wore ASEAN costumes in support of the significant activity.
 
The CST Dean also conducted a welcoming student orientation to new students prior to the university-wide college orientation to inculcate the vision, mission, goals, and core values of the university, the importance of free higher education and university rules and regulations, and proper student conduct.

On the other hand, the college distributed teaching kits to CST faculty for the first semester, AY 2024-2025. This manifests the strong administrative support for the teaching workforce.
