The College of Science and Technology (CST) at Guimaras State University recently celebrated the academic achievements of 206 students for the 1st Semester of Academic Year 2024-2025.

Following the flag ceremony on February 3, 2025, an awarding ceremony was held at the Mosqueda Campus. College Dean Adrian J. Forca led the event, joined by Campus Director Kurt D. Pillora, RCrim, Ph.D., and program heads Lea P. Ymalay, Ph.D. (Bachelor of Science in Computer Science – BSCS), Divon G. Tamdang (Bachelor of Science in Information Technology – BSIT), and Loveson C. The ceremony recognized students who achieved a Grade Point Average (GPA) between 1.0 and 1.75, qualifying them for the Dean’s List. This remarkable achievement represents 29% of the entire CST student population, with 83 students from BSCS, 30 from BSIS, and 93 from BSIT across all year levels receiving recognition.
The awarding ceremony served as a meaningful platform to recognize and celebrate the exceptional academic performance of CST students, inspiring them to continue pursuing their educational goals with enthusiasm and determination.
