Fourth-year students at Guimaras State University (GSU) – Mosqueda Campus successfully defended research projects during final defense held January 30-31, 2025. Event showcased diverse range of studies, from those addressing institutional challenges to development of innovative software and hardware systems.
Students presented work before distinguished panel of experts, including Adrian J. Forca, College Dean; Alfred John G. Borreros, Student Academic Service Coordinator; Divon G. Tamdang, Program Head of Bachelor of Science in Information Technology; James Ryan B. Ga, Research Coordinator; Loveson C. A two-day event highlighted culmination of students’ hard work and dedication to respective fields. Research projects demonstrated not only academic prowess but also commitment to contributing to advancement of technology and problem-solving within communities. While majority of studies were well-received, some were recommended to undergo re-defense, allowing students opportunity to further refine work based on panel’s valuable feedback and insights. This process further enriches students’ learning experience and ensures highest quality of research.
Successful final defense, even with re-defense recommendations, marks significant milestone for these graduating students as they prepare to embark on professional careers. GSU community congratulates them on achievements and wishes them well in future endeavors.
