In celebration of Valentine’s Day, Guimaras State University – College of Science and Technology (GSU – CST) hosted a symposium titled “Love, Courtship, and Marriage” at the Multi-Purpose Center, bringing together students, faculty, and staff for meaningful discussions.
The event aimed to foster open dialogue, provide educational insights, address common challenges in intimate relationships, and encourage self-reflection and personal growth through interactive sessions. Participants explored various aspects of love, courtship, and marriage in a supportive and educational setting.
To enrich the discussion, participants were divided into four groups: single women, led by Mrs. Cecile Espin; single men, led by Mr. Christian Infante; married men, led by Mr. Jun Jun Rosita; and married women, led by Mrs. Analie Ong. Facilitators were carefully selected based on their experiences and roles, ensuring engaging and insightful conversations.
The symposium successfully blended learning and engagement, allowing participants to reflect on their experiences while deepening their understanding of relationships. By providing a platform for open dialogue, the event contributed to the emotional well-being and personal growth of the GSU community.
