The College of Science and Technology (CST) marked the beginning of the National Women’s Celebration with an inspiring kick-off program at Mosqueda Campus. The event highlighted the strength, resilience, and contributions of women from different sectors, reinforcing the importance of empowerment and gender equality.








A diverse group of empowered women shared their personal journeys, reflecting on their achievements, challenges, and aspirations:

▪️ Mary Grace Balogo – 3rd Year (DOST Scholar)
▪️ Camille Jornadal – 4th Year (Graduating Student)
▪️ Mary Llourane Faith Jornadal – COS Staff
▪️ Instr. Ma. Ferrine Esmao – Part-time Faculty
▪️ Instr. Chrysha Lou Manajero – COS Faculty
▪️ Dr. Lea P. Ymalay – BSCS Program Head/SAS Coordinator
Beyond the inspiring narratives, the celebration also featured the One Billion Rising Dance, a global movement advocating for women’s rights and an end to gender-based violence. Participants came together in a powerful display of unity, dancing in solidarity with women worldwide. The event set the tone for the month-long celebration, emphasizing CST’s commitment to fostering a culture of empowerment, inclusivity, and support for women in all fields.
