CST Students Participate in Agri-Tech Innovate 2025: Advancing Digital Solutions for Sustainable Agriculture & Fisheries

Three students from the College of Science and Technology (CST)—Jeules Augustine B. Gagatam, Mhelrose P. Hervias, and Joshua Andrey P. Palomo—along with BSCS Program Head Lea P. Ymalay, participated in Agri-Tech Innovate: Accelerating Digital Solutions for Sustainable Agriculture & Fisheries, held at Iloilo Science and Technology University, La Paz, Iloilo City, on March 24, 2025.

The event provided a platform for students to explore innovative digital solutions in the agricultural and fisheries sectors. Through discussions and hands-on activities focused on technology-driven sustainability, participants gained valuable insights into the role of digital transformation in modern agriculture. Their involvement not only enhanced their technical knowledge but also strengthened their confidence in applying IT solutions to real-world challenges.

Through this initiative, CST continues to support and encourage students in leveraging technology for sustainable development, aligning with the growing demand for digital advancements in agriculture and fisheries.
