As part of its commitment to global academic engagement and cross-cultural learning, the College of Science and Technology (CST) of Guimaras State University (GSU) is sending three Bachelor of Science in Information Technology (BSIT) students to Universitas Pakuan in Bogor, Indonesia, under an Internationalization Exchange Program from May 25 to June 20, 2025.
The students will be accompanied by Dr. Reiner Jun Alminaza, representing CST as the official faculty mentor and support delegate. This international academic mobility initiative aims to enhance students’ global competence, foster cultural exchange, and expose participants to international academic practices and innovations in Information Technology.
This international experience forms part of GSU’s broader effort to internationalize its curriculum and provide learners with valuable opportunities to engage in academic collaboration and cultural immersion beyond national borders.
The activity highlights the university’s strong ties with ASEAN partner institutions and its proactive role in preparing globally competitive graduates.
