The Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA) of Universitas Pakuan (UNPAK) hosted a heartfelt farewell ceremony for the participants of the 26-day student exchange program, held at the Aula of the UNPAK FMIPA Building.

Faculty members, student buddies, and exchange participants gathered at 3:00 PM to formally conclude the enriching academic and cultural journey. The event served as both a farewell and a celebration of the successful collaboration between FMIPA UNPAK and Guimaras State University (GSU), Philippines.

The Dean, Dr. Asep Denih, extended his gratitude to the students for their active participation and positive contributions throughout their stay. He also expressed appreciation to GSU for the strong partnership that made the exchange possible.

The student participants were Maria Lea Gatungay, Adrian Michael Silvestre, and Guima Arra Ganancial, who, along with their fellow exchange participants, were each given the opportunity to share their learning experiences and messages. They spoke about their personal growth and the most memorable moments they had during their time in Bogor. Likewise, their student buddies also offered heartfelt farewell messages, highlighting the bond they formed during the program.

The ceremony concluded with the awarding of certificates and tokens of appreciation, followed by a group photo capturing the spirit of friendship and collaboration.

After the program, the students also had the chance to personally bid farewell to the Vice Rector, who warmly welcomed and embraced them. She expressed her heartfelt appreciation, exchanged meaningful messages, and even gave them gifts as tokens of UNPAK’s gratitude.
The event was filled with smiles, laughter, and bittersweet farewells—a testament to the lasting friendships and strengthened ties between UNPAK and GSU, marking not just the end of the program, but the beginning of enduring connections across cultures.
