August 26, 2025 | Guimaras State University – Mosqueda Campus
Guimaras State University (GSU) officially commenced the Academic Year 2025-2026 on August 26, 2025, marking a new chapter of learning, growth, and community engagement. This day welcomed and brought together returning students and faculty and staff of GSU Mosqueda Campus with new members, including the recently transferred College of Business and Management (CBM).
The morning began with a solemn flag-raising ceremony held in front of the Administration Building. This traditional event set a respectful and unified tone for the academic year, symbolizing national pride and the collective spirit of the GSU community.
Immediately following the ceremony, the community gathered for a Holy Mass held at the Conference Hall. This spiritual event aimed to invoke blessings upon the entire university, its endeavors, and all its members. The mass provided an opportunity for reflection and gratitude, formally inaugurating the academic year with a sense of divine guidance and collective aspiration.
As the university embarks on AY 2025-2026, the academic institution remains steadfast in its mission to provide quality, relevant, and accessible education, highlighting GSU’s commitment to fostering a supportive and inclusive environment for all.
