Prof. Adrian J. Forca, Dean of the College of Science and Technology (CST), presented his research paper titled “Driving Sustainable Development Through Data: A Looker Studio Dashboard for Philippine HEIs” at the 7th International Conference on Cybernetics and Intelligent Systems (ICORIS) on September 13, 2025. The conference was held virtually and hosted by Universitas Bumigora in West Nusa Tenggara, Indonesia.

With the theme “Cybernetic Technology and Intelligent Systems in Achieving Sustainable Development,” ICORIS 2025 served as a prestigious international forum that gathered scholars, professionals, and researchers to discuss and exchange innovative ideas, research results, and experiences in the fields of Information Technology, Information Systems, and Electronic Engineering.
Dean Forca’s presentation highlighted the vital role of data-driven systems in promoting sustainable practices within higher education institutions (HEIs) in the Philippines. His study explored the potential of Looker Studio dashboards as tools for monitoring, analyzing, and improving sustainability initiatives, emphasizing how intelligent systems can transform data into actionable insights for academic institutions.

The paper was co-authored by Mrs. Desiree Morales, Mr. Dan Christian Gellada, and Mr. James Ryan B. Ga, who contributed significantly to the study. While Dean Forca served as the presenter, the team’s collaborative effort was central to the development of the research.
The conference aimed to strengthen international collaboration and underscore the importance of research-driven solutions in addressing modern challenges. By participating in ICORIS 2025, Prof. Forca not only represented CST on the global research stage but also demonstrated the institution’s commitment to innovation, sustainability, and academic excellence.
Through such engagements, the College of Science and Technology continues to inspire its faculty and students to pursue impactful research that contributes to both local and global development goals.
