The Guimaras State University (GSU) Mosqueda Campus came alive with color and excitement during its Acquaintance Party held on Satudray, October 11, 2025 at the GSU Mosqueda Campus grounds. With the theme “Pag-Inupdanay 2025: Embracing Our Distinct Colors, Celebrating Our Shared Spirit, and Shining Together as One,” the event brought together the entire Mosquedians in a joyful celebration of unity, inclusivity, and togetherness.
The activity gathered the faculty and staff, along with the students from the College of Science and Technology (CST) and the College of Business and Management (CBM). The celebration served as a venue to strengthen bonds and promote harmony among members of the campus community while recognizing the diverse identities and talents that make Mosqueda Campus vibrant and dynamic.
The program began with a parade where participants proudly showcased their vibrant colors proudly representing their respective programs.
This was followed by cheers and yells where they demonstrated their creativity and enthusiasm.
Faculty and Staff of both colleges also brought smiles as they had their surprise dance number.
A Lunch of Togetherness provided a moment for everyone to share food, laughter, and stories, fostering a sense of camaraderie among faculty, staff, and students.
The event also featured “Hataw ng Kalikasan,” where each program presented lively and eco-inspired performances that energized the crowd.
The highlight of the day was the Mr. and Miss Icon 2025 competition, a showcase of beauty, talent, and intellect. The candidates graced the stage in several segments, including the Production Number, Elemento Attire, Sports Wear, Talent Portion, Formal Attire, and the much-awaited Question and Answer portion.
This year’s Mr. and Miss Icon 2025 both hailed from the College of Business and Management, BSBA Financial Management program.
The Acquaintance Party 2025 successfully embodied the essence of Pag-Inupdanay, celebrating differences, embracing diversity, and shining together as one Mosquedian family. It was a day filled with joy, pride, and shared memories that truly reflected the vibrant spirit of GSU Mosqueda Campus.
