The delegation from Universitas Pakuan (UNPAK), Bogor, Indonesia, officially arrived in the Province of Guimaras on October 27, 2025, marking the beginning of the Student and Faculty Exchange Program between UNPAK and Guimaras State University (GSU).
The delegation was composed of the following members:
1. Arya Wangsa Buana Perwata Kusumah – Computer Science Student
2. Rifqi Faiza Mohammad – Computer Science Student
3. Dr. Fajar Delli Wihartiko, M.M., M.Kom. – Head, Computer Science Study Program
4. Gustian Rama Putra, S.Kom., M.MSI. – Faculty
Upon arrival, the delegates were warmly welcomed by representatives from the College of Science and Technology (CST), led by Prof. Adrian J. Forca, Dean of the College, and Instr. Alfred John G. Borreros, IZN Coordinator. The warm reception set the tone for a fruitful and meaningful week of academic and cultural engagements.
To celebrate the start of the partnership, a welcome dinner was hosted at the Pitstop Hotel in honor of the guests, providing an opportunity for both institutions to foster camaraderie and share insights about their respective academic programs, research thrusts, and institutional goals. The gathering also reflects a shared commitment to advancing international cooperation and mutual learning.
As Day 1 concluded, both parties expressed enthusiasm for the series of activities lined up for the following days. From academic lectures and campus tours to cultural immersion and collaborative research explorations, all aimed at deepening ties between the two universities.
