February 2, 2026 | CSC Guimaras Field Office


The College of Science and Technology (CST) officially commenced the On-the-Job Training (OJT) deployment of 4th Year BSIT students to the Civil Service Commission (CSC) Guimaras Field Office on February 2, 2026, at San Miguel, Jordan, Guimaras.
The deployment involved two Bachelor of Science in Information Technology (BSIT) students, who will be undergoing their practical training at the CSC Guimaras Field Office. This initiative forms part of CST’s commitment to providing students with meaningful industry exposure and hands-on experience aligned with their academic preparation.
Through their OJT, the students are expected to apply their technical knowledge and skills in a real-world government setting, gain insights into public service operations, and develop professional work ethics essential for their future careers in the field of information technology.
The partnership between CST and the Civil Service Commission Guimaras Field Office highlights the university’s continuous efforts to strengthen linkages with government agencies, ensuring that students are well-equipped and work-ready as they transition from academic learning to professional practice.
