GSU Mosqueda Campus Celebrates Hearts’ Month 2026

The Guimaras State University Mosqueda Campus joyfully celebrated Hearts’ Month 2026 on February 18, 2026, filling the campus with love, music, and vibrant activities that brought together students, faculty, and staff.

The celebration officially opened with an inspiring message from Campus Director, Dr. Kert D. Pillora, followed by heartfelt messages from the deans of the two departments. Their words emphasized the importance of fostering camaraderie, appreciation, and a positive academic community grounded in respect and unity.

Adding warmth and color to the event, students showcased their talents through lively intermission numbers. They also serenaded faculty and staff while personally handing them bouquets of chocolates, an endearing gesture that created a festive and touching atmosphere across the campus.

A variety of engaging activities were prepared for everyone to enjoy throughout the day. These included shoutouts that allowed participants to express their messages of gratitude and affection, a film showing that highlighted themes of love and friendship, and photobooths capturing memorable moments. The event also featured fun and creative attractions such as the jail booth, wedding booth, and other student-managed booths.

The celebration of Hearts’ Month was more than just a day of entertainment, it served as a reminder of the value of community, kindness, and connection within the university.
