Delegates from Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS (UTP), Malaysia, joined the students and academic community of Guimaras State University (GSU)–Mosqueda Campus during the flag-raising ceremony on October 19, 2026, marking another opportunity for cultural exchange and international engagement.
The UTP delegates were warmly welcomed by the Mosquedians as they took part in the university’s regular flag raising ceremony. The visiting students introduced themselves and expressed their appreciation for the warm reception they received from the GSU community.
The delegates also shared their eagerness to learn more about Guimaras Island throughout their stay, looking forward to discovering its culture, people, and local experiences. Their participation in the ceremony reflected the spirit of friendship and cultural understanding fostered through the student mobility program.
The delegates are set to participate in student engagement activities and an interview with The Nexus Media, providing further opportunities to connect with the local academic community and share their experiences as international visitors.
