The College of Science and Technology (CST) convened a consultative meeting with parents on September 10, 2026, creating a collaborative platform to discuss campus developments, global learning initiatives, and holistic student support systems at GSU Mosqueda Campus Conference Hall.
During the assembly, the CST Dean presented a detailed progress report on the ongoing construction of the new CST building, sharing architectural insights and expectations for the facility once completed. To address immediate space requirements during the construction phase, the Dean proposed the installation of heavy-duty, climate-appropriate tents to serve as temporary learning spaces, ensuring that academic activities proceed without disruption while safety remains prioritized.
Highlighting the college’s commitment to global exposure, the Dean also announced significant strides in the CST Internationalization Program. Nine CST students will participate in the student exchange program in Indonesia this September, showing the institution’s drive to foster cross-cultural learning and international academic standards.
Representatives from the Guidance Office also conducted an informative session centered on suicide prevention and mental health awareness. Parents received guidance on identifying subtle warning signs of emotional distress and learned effective strategies for supporting children experiencing mental health challenges.
Closing the assembly, the CST Student Council presented its core mission and upcoming service projects, emphasizing their role as a steadfast support system for the student body.
