The Commission on Higher Education Regional Office VI evaluated the two new proposed programs under the College of Science and Technology namely: Bachelor of Science in Entertainment and Multimedia Computer (BSEMC) and Bachelor of Library and Information Science (BLIS).
The Regional Quality Assessment Team for IT Education, led by Dr. Rosslin John Robles (Education Program Supervisor II for ITE Programs), and the two RQAT Members, Dr. Maricel Salazar, evaluated the proposed BSEMC and Prof. Cozette Gregorios evaluated, the BLIS on the Mosqueda Campus.
Part of the Evaluation Process of the RQAT keenly scrutinized the documentary requirements as required by the Policies, Standards, and Guidelines per CMO 2, series of 2014 (BSEMC) and CMO 24, series of 2015 (BLIS), where the newly assigned program heads (PH), Instr. James Ryan Ga (PH for BSEMC) and Instr. Kristine G. Rosero (PH for BLIS) together with Prof. Adrian J. Forca (College Dean), and the Key Officials and other Program Heads from the same college, collaboratively worked with the evaluators. Thereafter, inspections of computer laboratories and learning facilities were checked.
An exit conference then followed where evaluators presented their findings.
