April 3, 2025 | Nueva Valencia Municipal Hall and PSA-Guimaras
The College of Science and Technology (CST) of Guimaras State University (GSU) continues its commitment to experiential learning through another round of On-the-Job Training (OJT) deployment. On April 3, 2025, fourth-year students were officially deployed to two government institutions—Nueva Valencia Municipal Hall and the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) – Guimaras.
The deployment was spearheaded by Divon G. Tamdang, Program Head of the Bachelor of Science in Information Technology (BSIT), and Loveson C. Gallos, Program Head of the Bachelor of Science in Information Systems (BSIS), who accompanied the students during the distribution of the Memorandum of Agreement (MOA). This initiative aims to expose students to real-world industry practices, allowing them to apply theoretical knowledge and acquire practical skills relevant to their fields. By partnering with key government sectors, CST ensures its students receive valuable hands-on experience that prepares them for future professional endeavors.
