On April 14, 2025, the Mosqueda Campus of Guimaras State University (GSU) underwent an ISO 9001:2015 audit led by Grace Reyes, an external auditor from SOCOTEC Certification Philippines. The audit focused on assessing the university’s compliance with international quality management standards, particularly in its academic and administrative operations.
As part of the scheduled review, the Bachelor of Science in Computer Science (BSCS) program was selected for evaluation. The audit examined institutional processes, documentation, and adherence to policies and quality objectives. Ms. Jimmy Lee Quider, a Contract of Service (COS) faculty member, was selected for individual document monitoring, representing faculty-level compliance and performance documentation.
The audit was conducted in the presence of Assoc. Prof. Adrian J. Forca, CST College Dean, and Ms. Lea Ymalay, Bachelor of Science in Computer Science (BSCS) Program Head, who provided the necessary documents and facilitated the evaluation process.
This activity underscores the university’s commitment to continuous improvement and maintaining excellence in education through adherence to global standards. The visit marks another milestone in GSU’s quality assurance efforts as it continues to strengthen its systems for effective academic service delivery.
