In preparation for their upcoming internship deployment, the College of Science and Technology (CST) of Guimaras State University (GSU) held its 2nd On-the-Job Training (OJT) Pinning Ceremony for 3rd Year Bachelor of Science in Computer Science (BSCS) students on May 16, 2025, at the Conference Hall, Mosqueda Campus.



The event marked a significant milestone for the students as they officially embarked on their industry immersion experience. Messages of support and encouragement were delivered by university officials, including Dr. Lilian Diana Parreño, University President, Dr. Erly Martir, Vice President for Academic Affairs, and Dr. Kert D. Pillora, Campus Director of Mosqueda.

Adding inspiration to the ceremony was Mechelle Gandullas, BSCS Batch 2024 alumna, who shared her journey and insights during her internship, motivating the current batch to embrace the experience with dedication and perseverance. The pinning ceremony symbolized the trust and confidence the university places in its students as they transition from academic preparation to real-world application, reinforcing GSU-CST’s commitment to academic excellence and industry readiness.
