GSU Celebrates University Week 2025 with Vibrant Spirit of Talent and Unity

Guimaras State University (GSU) came alive from June 2 to 7, 2025, as students, faculty, and staff gathered at Salvador Campus to celebrate University Week 2025—a week-long event dedicated to honing student skills and fostering camaraderie across colleges.

Participants from various colleges showcased their talents and intellect through a range of academic, artistic, and cultural competitions. Events such as debate, essay writing, painting, photography, extemporaneous speaking, quiz bowl, storytelling, drawing, spelling, spoken poetry, and short & sweet plays offered students the opportunity to display their unique strengths and perspectives.

A major highlight of the week was the much-anticipated Live Band Showcase and the prestigious Search for Mr. and Ms. GSU 2025, where students celebrated music, fashion, confidence, and creative expression.

Empowering students to engage beyond the classroom, University Week 2025 underscored the importance of holistic development, collaboration, and unity within the academic community of GSU.
