The Guimaras State University College of Science and Technology (GSU-CST) actively participated in the Provincial Agricultural Stakeholders Forum on August 5, 2025, held at the Agricultural Farmers Center (AFC), San Miguel, Jordan, Guimaras.
During the event, Instr. James Ryan B. Ga, Research Coordinator of GSU-CST, presented the proposed Guimaras Agricultural Commodity Visualization Web Tool, an innovative system designed to address the growing need for accurate and accessible data on agricultural commodities across the province.
The forum gathered representatives from various agricultural sectors across Guimaras, creating a platform for discussion and collaboration. The initiative aims to provide a comprehensive and efficient method for commodity visualization from the five municipalities of the province.
Through the development of this web tool, GSU-CST seeks to support stakeholders in making informed decisions, identifying trends, and addressing emerging issues in the agricultural sector. The project highlights the university’s commitment to using technology and research to respond to real-world challenges and contribute to the province’s sustainable agricultural development.
