On this day, the team focused on evaluating the thesis papers of students from Student Exchange Participants. The research presentations centered on the application of machine learning in mango production in Guimaras, highlighting innovative approaches to enhance agricultural productivity and disease management.
The evaluation included two approved collaborative papers between GSU and UNPAK researchers:
Decision Tree-Based Web System for Guimaras Mango Variety Classification by Rifqi Faiza Mohammad, Gustian Rama Putra, and Fajar Delli Wihartiko (UNPAK) with Adrian J. Forca and Alfred John Borreros (GSU).
Disease Classification on Mango Leaves and Stems using Transfer Learning with the EfficientNetB0 Architecture by Arya Wangsa, Gustian Rama Putra, and Fajar Delli Wihartiko (UNPAK) with Adrian J. Forca and James Ryan Ga (GSU).
These collaborative studies serve as a testament to the strong research partnership between Guimaras State University and Universitas Pakuan, aiming to promote innovation in agriculture through technology.
