The 4th Year Bachelor of Science in Computer Science (BSCS) students of the College of Science and Technology successfully conducted their Pre-Oral Defense at the Library Discussion Room of Guimaras State University – Mosqueda Campus on January 19, 2026.
Prior to the start of the defense, the CST Dean, Prof. Adrian J. Forca, gathered the students for a short but meaningful orientation. He encouraged the students to treat the pre-oral defense as an opportunity to refine their studies, accept constructive feedback, and strengthen their outputs before the mid-evaluation defense.
This served as a crucial step in evaluating the students’ research progress, methodology, and the technologies to be used. It also provided them with valuable insights and recommendations from the panel, helping them improve their studies.
The activity reflects CST’s commitment to maintaining academic excellence and ensuring that its students produce quality research outputs that are both relevant and impactful.
