Guimaras State University (GSU) extends its best wishes to its student exchange participants who are set to undertake a mobility program in Indonesia from September 21 to October 18, 2026, accompanied by Dr. Reiner Jun G. Alminaza and Dr. Simeon J. Cainday III.
The delegation will commence its program at Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS) from September 21 to 27, then proceed to Institut Teknologi dan Bisnis STIKOM Bali for the succeeding leg from September 27 to October 18.
Moving between two partner institutions gives the participants a wider academic canvas for their exchange. They will encounter different classroom settings, institutional practices, student communities, and cultural contexts while taking part in activities arranged under the mobility program.
Such an immersion places learning outside its usual coordinates. Conversations with Indonesian peers, encounters with unfamiliar academic routines, and everyday experiences in a different cultural setting can offer lessons that no classroom exercise can quite reproduce.
The engagement likewise adds another strand to GSUโs academic relations with Indonesia, with the two partner universities providing the setting for continued student exchange and institutional interaction.
As the delegation prepares to cross Philippine shores, University President Dr. Lilian Diana B. Parreรฑo and the whole GSU community extend their warmest wishes for a safe and fruitful engagement.
